About Me

I’m someone who believes that hard work means more when it’s rooted in purpose. Everything I do—academically, professionally, and personally—is driven by a deep sense of responsibility to the people who believed in me before I ever believed in myself.

I’m a junior Mechanical Engineering student at the University of South Florida with a near-perfect academic record, pursuing a minor in Aerospace Engineering and on track to graduate in Spring 2027. But my story is about far more than GPA numbers or course titles. I’m a first-generation college student, raised in a family that understands sacrifice, perseverance, and the quiet strength it takes to keep pushing forward even when things aren’t easy. I’ve seen firsthand what it looks like to work long hours, to give without expecting anything back, and to never quit simply because something is difficult. That mindset is the foundation of who I am.

I approach engineering the same way my family approaches life: with intention, discipline, and pride in doing things the right way. I don’t cut corners. I don’t settle for “good enough.” Whether I’m designing brake rotors for a Formula SAE car, analyzing thermal data logs, or running simulations to understand how a system behaves under real loads, I treat every task as if it matters—because it does. I’ve been trusted with real responsibilities in team environments like Formula SAE and IEEE Electrathon, where safety, performance, and reliability aren’t just ideas on paper, but requirements that affect real people and real outcomes.

What sets me apart is not just technical ability, but consistency. I show up. I learn fast. I ask questions. I stay late when something needs to be finished. I’m the kind of person who takes ownership—if something fails, I want to understand why; if something succeeds, I want to understand how to make it even better next time. Engineering, to me, is not just problem-solving—it’s accountability.

Outside of academics and projects, my motivation is deeply personal. I come from a hardworking family that sacrificed so I could pursue opportunities they never had, and I carry that responsibility with me every day. My drive comes from wanting to build a future where the people who supported me feel proud and secure, and where my effort translates into something meaningful beyond myself.

I thrive in diverse environments because I genuinely believe that different perspectives make solutions stronger. I bring empathy into engineering spaces, leadership into team settings, and humility into every room I walk into. I’m not afraid to work from the ground up, and I’m not afraid to fail as long as I learn from it.

At the end of the day, I’m someone who refuses to waste opportunity. I work hard because I’ve seen what hard work can do. I stay disciplined because I know where I come from. And I aim high because I’m building something bigger than myself.
